Your t-shirt will be completely unique because of the block printing process used to create it: First, I draw the image onto a rubber block. Next, I carve out all the negative space to leave the image that I want transferred (basically, it's a big stamp). Then, I roll ink onto the stamp and I very, very carefully press it into the fabric. Finally, it undergoes a drying and curing process to ensure ink permanence. This process results in a one-of-a-kind T-shirt every time.
This brand of t-shirts is sweat shop free, child labor free, and WRAP certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) meaning the factories are committed to the highest ethical standards of conduct and best quality practices.
Care: T-shirts may be washed and dried as you would wash and dry your other clothing without adverse affects. However, to prolong the life of your shirt, I recommend washing it in cold to warm water and hanging it to dry or using low tumble.
The Story Behind The Illustration - Mountain Landscape
I often view landscapes in pieces rather than a whole. I see the sky as it's own beautiful piece of work, I see the mountains as a majestic centerpiece, and the water of a river or ocean creating its own story. The inspiration for creating this landscape in multiple segments was to make a focal point of each unique feature. Often times I take in a whole vista in its overwhelming glory and fail to see the individual pieces that make it so stunning.
This image was meant to pull apart the whole picture and to create a sense of space to appreciate all the different parts that make it beautiful - in both life and art.
